Lifetime Income
Lifetime Income Planning is a comprehensive financial strategy aimed at providing a consistent and reliable income throughout a person’s retirement years. By carefully structuring assets and investments, this approach seeks to ensure financial stability and security for retirees, regardless of market fluctuations or unexpected expenses. With a focus on long-term sustainability, Lifetime Income Planning offers peace of mind and confidence for individuals as they transition into their retirement years.
Social Security
Social Security Planning involves maximizing the benefits available through the Social Security system to achieve financial security in retirement. By strategically coordinating when to start receiving benefits and optimizing claiming strategies, individuals can enhance their retirement income and ensure a more comfortable financial future. Social Security Planning aims to help individuals make informed decisions that align with their financial goals and long-term needs, providing a solid foundation for a secure retirement.
Investments
Investment Planning is a personalized financial strategy designed to help individuals grow and protect their wealth over time. By analyzing financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon, investment planning aims to create a diversified portfolio tailored to each individual’s needs. Through careful selection of assets, regular monitoring, and adjustments as needed, investment planning seeks to optimize returns and mitigate risks. By incorporating long-term financial objectives and market trends, investment planning provides a roadmap for individuals to build and preserve their wealth effectively.
Legacy
Legacy Planning is a strategic approach to ensure that one’s assets, values, and wishes are passed down to future generations or charitable causes in a meaningful and efficient manner. Through careful estate planning and the use of trusts, wills, and other tools, individuals can create a comprehensive legacy plan that aligns with their values and goals. Legacy Planning goes beyond financial considerations to encompass preserving family traditions, values, and philanthropic endeavors. By engaging in proactive legacy planning, individuals can leave a lasting impact and create a meaningful legacy for their loved ones and communities.
Health/LTC
Health and Long-Term Care Planning involves preparing for the potential need for extended medical care and support in later stages of life. This comprehensive strategy encompasses assessing potential healthcare costs, considering long-term care insurance options, and creating a plan to address medical and caregiving needs as individuals age. By proactively addressing these potential challenges, individuals can safeguard their financial well-being and ensure access to quality care if the need arises. Health and Long-Term Care Planning aims to provide peace of mind and security for individuals and their families, allowing them to age with dignity and financial stability.
Legal
Legal assistance in retirement planning is essential for ensuring that individuals have a comprehensive and legally sound strategy in place for their retirement years. This specialized support involves working with legal professionals, such as estate planning attorneys, to create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other important documents that outline how assets will be managed and distributed during retirement and beyond. Legal assistance in retirement planning can also help individuals navigate complex legal issues related to taxes, healthcare directives, guardianship, and other important considerations. By seeking legal guidance in retirement planning, individuals can ensure that their wishes are legally protected and that their financial and personal affairs are in order for the future.
About Bob Rothenbuehler
Bob Rothenbuehler is an accomplished financial services professional. Having grown up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and graduated from Northwestern College, Iowa, he has held management and executive positions with various companies and non-profits in the Mankato, Minnesota area for over 30 years.
His dad died at 59 without having planned for the financial future of his family. This created stress for his mom while putting her in a precarious financial situation. This fueled his desire to become educated in financial matters for himself first, and then for family, friends and clients so they didn’t have to go through similar experiences.
Having success in the Financial Services industry, Bob has directed his practice toward helping seniors address the many financial and emotional situations when facing planning and living in retirement. By taking a proactive and holistic approach to finding solutions for his clients’ biggest goals, we explore uncommon yet highly effective opportunities to reduce out of pocket costs such as taxes and interest while mitigating the risks of inflation and market losses.
Bob truly enjoys and excels at providing creative problem solving with innovative approaches. This gives his clients peace of mind through education, coaching and support as he pursues his goal of becoming a trusted advisor to the people he serves.
He also collaborated on the book, “How to Beat The IRS, Legally.” (ask for a copy if interested)
Over the years, he has served Christ in leadership roles at Messiah Lutheran Church as well as other non-profits including the YMCA and Lutheran Campus Ministry Boards of Directors, Young Life, A Fresh Start, Meals on Wheels and helping with the local backpack program.
He is married to his college sweetheart, Cindy and they have one daughter, Abby, son-in-law Tyler and grandchildren Elsie and Hudson.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing pickup basketball, spending time with friends and family as well as serving Christ.
